Hello, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom. 8:18.

Greetings to you in the wonderful name our Lord Jesus Christ, It is my privilege to introduce myself to you . I am Atimar Oruh, born and brought up in a Christian family having Formal education in the school, I am the second one in twin out of Six children in the family, I had a great zeal to work for the Lord and win souls for Christ. I was born and brought up in Bombay India until job brought me to Turkey in 2003. My father is from India and my mother from Nepal. My work with Christ from childhood has brought me very close to Christ and he gives to me the spirit of faithfulness and obedience unto him since I was young. I have the mandate to tell everyone about Christ wherever I go. I met my wife Florence here in Turkey in 2004 and we married the same year. She is also from India and also a Christian. We have been blessed with three children. I work with a construction company in Girne Turkey and this was the company that brought me to this country. I speak English, Indian Maitu language and Arabic. Our official language and school language in India is English. About three weeks ago the assistant pastor of my church Patel who works with the Red Cross was in Benin Nigeria to train some local Red Cross workers there. He stayed one month there and attended a church called Victory Church every Sunday while he was there. He said the name of the pastor of that church is called John Izemikol. He had a dinner with John and his family and while he was talking about his church Pastor John told Patel how a Brother in Korea has helped their church. Patel begged for your contact from him so he can give to me when he returns to Turkey and John gave him. This is how I got your address.

Most people here in Girne are mostly immigrants from Romania, Thailand, India, Hungary, Poland, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, and other poor nations. Many use to work in the apple farms until many of the farms winded up. Many came here looking for jobs. This is the place having the highest unemployment rate in mid-east. The crime rate is also going high if not for the government security system. Turkey is a free nation with religion but it is Islam that has the majority here and that always put the Christians in danger of attack. But for many years now this place has been peaceful only with few religious crisis compared to our neighbours like Syria, Lebanon and others.

In 2008 that is six years ago with other Christians 15 of us who also work at the construction company, we began Girne Christian Church. We use to fellowship together in our place of work but one day Brother Sangha Butu said he had a vision that we begin this fellowship so that we can reach others for Christ in Girne apart from fellowship at work which was for ourselves only. And then we started mostly after work and weekends. We reach out to many in Girne and we saw so many people turning their lives to Christ like we never expected. There are very few places of Christian worship in Girne and most far away at the end of Girne. Then in 2013 which is last year we decided to start a common place of fellowship and worship. We earlier started at the company’s ware house until the company authority asked us to leave the place. This was because most of the people at the authority are Muslims. By January this year we started our fellowship at an old mosque building which has been left since 1980. Now we number in almost 50. We have much in need and every day the Lord takes care of each need one by one. Most of the people that comes to us are fellowship here are immigrants who rely on God for help. I am working personally among the tribal Indians and 10 were baptized by me yesterday.

Over a month ago the mosque owners asked us to leave and gave us a month quit notice which has expired. Last week we saw a building for sale which has been used as a warehouse on a piece of lane measuring 100 by 50 feats. The selling price is 3, 000 Lira. The money is about Rl: 2 Lira to one dollar which is the American dollars and this can total 1, 500 dollar American money. It is funny for you to know we have no single money our saving for ourselves and this is when we need God to prove himself for us by coming to rescue us. We need your help and please help us. Our church fellows have no such money. We will be blessed to be helped by you.

God blessings be with you.
